I don't have a comparison with other manufacturers, so I can only compare with wired headphones.
The setup app is simple and straightforward, the headphones come with 3 sizes of earbuds so you can choose the right one to keep the headphones in your ears. Ambient sound dampening also works.
The downside for me is that even when I use the smallest size of earbuds, after a relatively short while my ears get pinched, so I can't keep these headphones on for long.

the app requires access to everything (even reading sms, file system access), if you don't approve everything, the app doesn't work
I don't want them reading my texts, etc.
you can't just lend your headphones to anyone because they'd have to install an app

I've had them for a little over a year and I've never had better TWS headphones. Almost (99.9% of the time I've had them they haven't disconnected or broken sound) they don't disconnect and the sound is really amazing for how tiny they are to the point of being unreal. I had them connected to the Oneplus 7 Pro all the time, so I didn't use that Samsung codec until recently when I got the Galaxy S23 and it's a bit noticeable in the response speed against video for example. Otherwise, I can recommend it for any phone. For the price, you can't go wrong and even I find the Buds 2 pro's don't make sense anymore as good as these headphones are.

I went from three-hundred-pound plugs, so it was a huge change. Super bass, super sound, good soundproofing. I was satisfied. However, a few days later I bought my wife a Sony WF-C700N because she didn't like the Samsung. When I tried them, I was amazed at how perfect and clear they sounded. No futile tones. I returned the Samsung and now I have a Sony at home. Sony is simply the top in sound 🙂
Ambient noise cancellation works quite well
Nice sound and decent bass
They are difficult to put on because they are made of slippery plastic
To really put them on correctly requires several attempts. The Samsung app has a headphone fitting check feature. If they're not packed really deep, they don't play as well
The sound is not completely clear - some tones are reactive.
