Finally, a usable and sufficiently fast Samsung watch since the Series 7.
Connectivity with the Samsung ecosystem
Mapy.cz is only a paid monthly subscription, don't buy it for that, and even then, it can't navigate well with maps in this application.

I wouldn't buy them again.
- For the money, I would expect the GPS to give the location in the open (in a village between houses) to within a metre, not 10.
- I know the claimed battery life is worth a pittance, but when I turn off everything except the time and have to recharge daily anyway, it really makes me laugh and sad after switching from the Huawei Watch gt 6.
- They're just ugly, sterile, yuck.
They are lightweight, so they are comfortable to wear

I've had the watch for almost two months, so I think I've gotten to know it well enough. If you want them as a fashion accessory, buy them. They look natural on a smaller wrist, they don't get in the way. they just look good. They are perfectly legible even in direct sunlight, the display is sharp. As far as appearance is concerned, there is nothing to complain about. If you live in a city where you go shopping and pay with them, or to a business meeting and they navigate you, you'll be happy. If you play sports and really want to use the watch for heart rate, steps or even ECG, buy another one.
The battery lasts a day and a half. Anyone who hasn't experienced it before can't imagine what a hassle it is. You can't go a weekend without a charger. So if you want to go outdoors, bring a power bank. Once you sweat a lot, the sensor gets so confused that it doesn't even count steps, even if you have them tightened. I climbed a ridge in the Alps, 1100 m elevation, and my watch told me that I should move more (my lungs wanted to trample them at that moment). When I go for a normal walk, it's fine, as soon as I start to sweat a lot, they are useless. And some functions (ECG) only work with Samsung phones, which is not mentioned in the description.
They look great
The strap holds perfectly
They are perfectly legible even in direct sunlight
Batteries, batteries, batteries
As soon as one sweats, the sensor stops measuring properly
. and once again the batteries
If you don't have a Samsung phone, some features don't work

Moving from the Withing ScanWatch 1, noticeable difference, lightweight, fits well, on my smaller male arm the smaller 40mm version fits. Personally, I like the new design According to expert tests, the quality of the sensors and measurements has improved. The question is how valid are the sensors for measuring advanced glycation and antioxidants. I also chose them because I am part of the Samsung ecosystem. Otherwise, I would consider the Goole Pixel. Overall I am satisfied with the watch
fits well, lightweight
easy installation
function
improved sensor accuracy
batteries, must be charged every day

I am generally satisfied with the watch, but I will get another strap in time, the supplied rubberized one is uncomfortable for me.
The display is perfectly legible in sunlight
Downloadable apps
Within bluetooth range of the phone can call, sms, whatsup
Health functions
Battery max 1.5 days, mostly just a day
Short range of bluetooth (about 10m-15m) In the apartment there is no coverage even for the whole apartment and this is a normal prefabricated apartment 3kk

I purchased a new watch after 9 years and a lot has changed in that time. As a mother of a young child, I wanted a watch to make communication and shopping easier so I didn't have to keep taking my phone out of my pocket at the playground. So if you are choosing from this point of view, I highly recommend the watch. I really appreciate the nice design, easy to wear, it doesn't press anywhere, but personally I would welcome a slightly smaller display, I have a 40mm size, and with my small wrist, I would welcome a smaller size (at night it sometimes gets in the way). If you use any Google tool, it's easy to install it on your watch. For example. You can use both Samsung Pay and Google Pay to pay. You can reply to messages by typing on the watch keyboard, speak the message and send it, or after downloading GBoard, you can dictate the message in Czech and it will be transcribed into a typed message, which I use the most when my hands are full on the field or I'm just off the phone. When taking a call and making a call through the watch, the audio transmission is nice and clear. I also like the many display settings so that I can put everything I need to see on the main display without having to scroll through apps and search. Personally, I can see my health goals, hours and days, weather, messages, calls, Google Pay, battery status, steps right on the main display. Of the exercise tracking I have so far used running, walking and especially swimming, where I must say it measures very well. Another very good thing I appreciate is the nice GPS map navigation, e.g. when we're cycling, I don't have to look at my phone or the map, and the direction is shown on my watch. The only thing that has disappointed me so far is the use of Gemini, as it only works in English (at least I haven't found it in Czech yet) and unfortunately it doesn't understand Czech names in contacts. So even if I enter in English that I want to call someone, it will take the command, but unfortunately it no longer understands the name I want to dial. Overall, I'm happy with the watch and the controls are very intuitive and simple.
bright display, sunlight readability without problem
the ability to use the watch to make and answer phone calls and reply to messages
Google Pay payment option
easy pairing with your Samsung Galaxy phone
possibility of transcription of the message spoken in Czech into the watch (after downloading GBoard)
Almost everything can be reconfigured and adjusted to your own preferences
lots of health functions that are clearly recorded on both the watch and the phone
they are quite resistant to blows to doors and falls
battery life (about 2 days)

I was pleasantly surprised by the watch. Great, uncluttered design, fits great in the hand, AMOLED display is bright even in the sun. System responses are smooth, sports functions are accurate and the battery lasts more than a day. Great connectivity to your phone and notifications. I recommend it.
Perfect fit on the hand
40 mm ideal size
the battery could last longer

I was pleasantly surprised by the Galaxy Watch 8 - great display, fast responses and decently accurate health measurement. Battery life better than the previous generation but still nothing special, sleek design and comfortable to wear even when sleeping.
