When used in USB 3, where the drive will offer max. the write speed heats up quite quickly and then the speed drops rapidly down to somewhere around 13 MB/s. It is therefore not really suitable for copying large files (ideally files up to 1GB, then it starts to overheat). This is due to both size and price, but the overall price/performance ratio is good.
