Any instructions are missing.
The left and right sides do not say anything to the manufacturer. I.e. that the anchoring L-pieces (or the sides of the ladders) are all identical and due to the asymmetric pre-drilling, the left side is anchored higher than the right.
Rusty screws and washers, on one side extend in the wood. (neck screws)
