It plays, it wakes you up, but that should be a matter of course with a radio alarm clock
A big plus is the brightness setting - especially at night, it's not a distraction in the bedroom at all, but despite this, the display is beautifully legible.
When projecting on the wall, the rotation around the axis cannot be adjusted, in case you do not project perpendicularly in front of the alarm clock but at some angle, the digits are skewed

We only use it as a clock, we don't use the alarm clock or radio. Large digits clearly visible even at night at three meters without glasses, three brightness levels; Ceiling/wall projection was the main requirement and it works great.

the display is nice to read during the day and at night - and at night it doesn't illuminate the whole room - it's so subtle
the projector has a separate switch
the projector also has an orientation switch - 180°
when you set the max sharpness (about 2m), it is less readable, but if you blur it a bit, it is just right
