It vacuums both hard surfaces and carpets and at 230, -don't take it. The nozzle is universal for every vacuum cleaner. When the bristles are worn out, which is in about 3 months, you can remove the wheels easily and you can continue vacuuming. We have been using one of these nozzles for about 1/2 year and it looks like it will last at least 3-4 more months. We vacuum once a fortnight, sometimes every week. The nozzle is beautifully light compared to the original and very easy to handle. It doesn't get stuck when vacuuming the carpet! Super-good choice for us.
