I haven't traced what is the difference between the buttons, because when I press the first one with one drop the water tastes as if without bubbles the same with the second one the only difference is with three drops where it is already known that the water is perliva. The first two need to be pressed more times to get the effervescence
For me, three buttons are completely unnecessary. It's better to get a regular sodastream with one.
The price is driven up probably only because of the design and, that it is a novelty,
