I read here that the foil doesn' t fit. This is not true. It is a certified foil, it protects the display.
It must be said that the foil is 45 mm for the Apple Watch. For the Apple Watch 44 mm, there is an older type of foil that can still be obtained. Therefore, whoever glues this foil to 44 mm does not fit because it is larger.

Although I was afraid of “wet“ application, in the end it was fine and the foil was glued without bubbles. It' s really hard to recognize the watch (yet). However, it is not up to the edges and the foil in the instructional video with the gaps in the corners is a different product. This foil covers only the upper part of the glass. The edges of the foil are not visible when applied correctly, but they are quite sharp and quite uncomfortable when running your finger over a curved part of the display. Here I' m afraid that over time, dirt will start to accumulate and the foil will be visible.

It occurs to me that there were foils in the package for the 42mm version, maybe even smaller. The foil does not even look remotely like in the instructional video and only covers the center of the display, so you have the rounded part of the display completely uncovered. Not to mention the rounding margins that get in the way when you hang the notifications bar or status bar.
