You can crimp the connector with them
The protrusions pushing the knives into the cable do not fit on the knives but have a large deviation. The connector blades then break to the side instead of cutting into the cable and can start again. Connector crimped until the third attempt, with more frequent use, it pays to save connectors and buy more expensive pliers, which I have never encountered anything like it.

They also have an insulation cutter, but it is designed for flat cables. Round cables (most LAN cables) do not cut very well with them.
