On the disk you get an installer, for formatting, which is outdated and no longer supported, in other words you can't update or download it. The disk is formatted in exFat, which means you won't be able to download larger folders/games that are over 4GB, so I had to right click through start Disk Management and reformat myself to NTFS there. As far as read and write speeds are concerned, this varies a lot with the product parameters they have written here, however, the loading speed and overall online gaming is smooth and so far I have not noticed any problem.

The LED lights cannot be switched off and will not turn off even when the computer is switched off.
The disk is a piece of plastic that has less weight than the included cable itself, so just put it somewhere and hope it doesn't fall off one day.
