The price of the holder corresponds to the design and the method of attachment. A few adjustments had to be made to make the holder actually hold and withstand shocks and not loosen. It was necessary to define the clearance between the sleeve and the plate of the holder with a washer made of a weak plate (I used a 3.5" floppy disk cover plate). This meant that the plate no longer moved at all when the bolt was pulled onto the sleeve and could no longer loosen the centre fixing bolt. Some earlier users solved this by over-tightening this screw, but it still didn't help them to loosen it, they just tore off the Allen screw hole. In this way, the problem of the plate loosening on the mounting sleeve is solved to satisfaction. Another loosening is in the holder clamps, where the shock can loosen the bolt, which does not have the locking feature that is common in the holder clamps. I solved it with a rubber band that I pushed under the plate and threaded onto the control wheel of the clamp tightening screw. After these adjustments the phone in gel. the cover holds firm, tested in rough terrain for the first 50 km. As an improvement, two strips of thin rubber can be glued into the grooves on the board to prevent the phone from slipping when used without the gel cover.
