We first tried the cage in a Ford Mondeo combi MK4, so the cage fit with ease. We then put it in a Hyundai i30 combi, where it really just fits. It needs to be placed in the middle of the trunk, because of the door, which otherwise could not be opened because of the loading edge. The cage is about 1cm from the glass when the trunk is closed, so it needs to be secured so that it can't move backwards, otherwise there is a risk of breaking the glass.
However, for the money it is a good product. Very similar cages "tailored" to a specific car cost at least 4 times as much.
Price - I didn't find such a big cage cheaper anywhere
The cage comes folded on the "sides" - only folding the 6 walls together
Although it is listed as "for small breeds", it is big enough for Huskies
Quality of workmanship - after delivery, some aluminium profiles had to be straightened in order to insert the wooden board
When driving on worse roads, it squeaks at various times, probably some padding will be needed at the joints between the profile and the wood
The door is quite foul, the hinges look poor quality
Without eyelets or other means of anchoring to the trunk
The wooden board is very slippery, it needs to be lined with something rubber to keep the dog from slipping

allows the dog to be transported together with other luggage in the boot of the car.
other transported items can be placed on the upper surface (ceiling) (unlike the Thule crate)
the box is terribly heavy, which makes it difficult to load and unload it from the car, no fixing straps are included, and there are no handles (lugs) for attachment.
the side and rear parts of the box - made of AL profiles and plywood - are very loosely assembled at the factory and vibrate and make a lot of noise when driving.
The Al profiles are made of a soft alloy and you can't avoid warping their thin ends when assembling them.
The assembly instructions are poor and only in foreign language, lacking the obligatory Czech translation.
