seamless functionality in windows
When used to create a hotspot, the range is approximately 3m. To use the 5 GHz band, the device must be inserted into the included base.

It works as I expect
Tested on Windows 8.1 - no problem
The included CD installs only the drivers
I would have imagined a different look, but functionality is more important
a cable is a cable, but this is enough to satisfy (on a 300/20 connection it works at speeds between 160-280 Mbps)
