Unifi Controller (configuration software) has a problem with JAVA versions (32 x 64 bit), which is to be expected.
If this SW is installed in a user directory where diacritics are used, it cannot write to its own DB. SW does not allow to select the installation location! So if you are a user and the username uses diacritics, you usually need to create a new profile without diacritics and install the software into it. After that, everything goes smoothly and configuration is easy. if you have problems, I recommend to study the log file.
