I did end up returning it, but only for one reason: I wanted the speaker primarily for listening to the spoken word before falling asleep. But since you're adjusting the volume and you hit a limit (both the highest and the lowest), there's a really loud beep. And this is not what you or your offspring want to hear before falling asleep.
design / dimensions + looks good
for a given size sound
loud tone at the highest, but also at the lowest volume
after purchase and unpacking it was completely discharged

Great! I was looking for a speaker for work and this one exceeded my expectations. He plays well! Ideal for the casual user, but for its size it handles mobile music well even at higher volumes.
