The trend today in the smartphones is increasing the size of their displays. Gone are the days when we 
were looking at a one-line displays, today we can see 4 ", 5" and a Nexus 6 even has a 6-inch display.    

With the size of the display hand in hand increases the size of the device itself, which may be disadvantage for some. One disadvantage is that it is less convenient to carry. 4-inch smart phone can be operated with one hand, a larger display, however, requires the involvement of both hands. Larger screen, is great for surfing the Internet, playing games or watching videos or looking at photos. Device with display between 5 and 7 inches is sometimes called phablet, somewhere between phone and tablet.

The era of the tablets was launched in 2010 by the iPad. Supporters of tablets appreciate their ease of use and mobility. 6 "to 7" tablets are light, 8 "and 10" represent a good compromise between mobility and usability and a 12 "tablet is primarily for work.

Notebooks

Diagonal size of a laptop is one of the fundamental parameters when purchasing it. The most widespread dimension is the 15.6 ".
