Vulkan

Vulkan je otvorené rozhranie pre programovanie aplikácií (API), ktoré vyvíja spoločnosť Khronos a spolupracuje na ňom napríklad AMD alebo Valve (vlastník služby Stream). Domovským teritóriom Vulkanu je najmä mobilná platforma Android, ale v poslednom čase si razí cestu aj do počítačových hier na Windows. Hlavným konkurentom API Vulkan je DirectX od spoločnosti Microsoft.
