These terms and conditions govern the operation and provision of the Alza Premium service.
These terms govern the relationship between the contracting parties, where on one side is the company Alza.cz a.s., Company ID 27082440, VAT ID CZ27082440, with its registered office at Jankovcova 1522/53, 170 00 Prague 7, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 8573, as the provider of the Alza Premium service (hereinafter "Alza"), and on the other side the customer – a natural person, consumer, who purchases the Alza Premium service as the ordering party (hereinafter the “Member”). These terms govern the operation and provision of the Alza Premium service (hereinafter the “Terms”).
Entrepreneurs who are also Members may purchase goods from Alza only at the prices displayed on the Alza.cz website for unregistered users. No pricing advantages therefore apply to Members who are entrepreneurs. For the purposes of these Terms, in addition to the definition under Sections 420 et seq. of the Civil Code, an entrepreneur also includes any Alza customer or Member who provides their company identification number (IČO) in an order. Members under this paragraph must not offer or sell goods purchased from Alza to third parties and are not entitled to obtain membership free of charge. If they do obtain membership free of charge, Alza may classify them as B2B customers, or convert their membership to a paid plan. B2B customers cannot become Members; if they do (e.g. due to an error by Alza), Alza reserves the right to cancel their membership.
Any matters not addressed by these Terms shall be governed by the General Terms and Conditions.
If a customer becomes a Member of the Alza Premium service, they are entitled to the following benefits:
1. Free home delivery
The Member is entitled to free delivery of goods purchased on the Alza e‑shop to an address of their choice within the Czech Republic. At checkout, the shipping options covered by this benefit will be clearly indicated. Free delivery applies only to the shipping cost itself; any additional delivery‑related services remain chargeable.
Free home delivery does not apply to express, courier or other forms of premium delivery, nor to any other cases where Alza explicitly states that a particular delivery option is not covered by this benefit.
2. Access to AlzaPlus+ discounts
The Member may use discount codes shown on products that are intended for AlzaPlus+ members (AlzaPlus+ discounts). The Member has no legal entitlement to any specific AlzaPlus+ discount.
AlzaPlus+ discounts are typically applied by entering the code shown on the product into the appropriate field in the customer's shopping basket. The Member acknowledges that some discounts may be available only for purchases made through the mobile app. AlzaPlus+ discounts are time‑limited.
3. 30‑day returns
The Member has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for goods within an extended period of 30 days from receipt of the goods. In all other respects, the same rules apply as for the statutory 14-day withdrawal period.
Membership benefits may be used without time limitation. Temporary restrictions may occur due to system maintenance or outages, for which we are not responsible. No compensation or reduction of the membership fee can be claimed in such cases.
Services within Alza Premium are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, unless otherwise specified for a particular service.
The Member acknowledges that Alza is not responsible for technical issues outside Alza’s control (e.g. network configuration, the Member’s internet connection, or data transfer limits on the Member’s side), which may result in temporary interruption or reduced quality of the service.
In addition, Alza has the right, without prior notice or compensation, to temporarily restrict access to part of the service for the shortest possible time due to maintenance and/or updates and/or upgrades.
In the event of an information system outage or force majeure, Alza is not liable for any deterioration in quality or limitation of the service provided.
Alza will inform Members of service outages without undue delay once it becomes aware of them, either via a pop-up notification after logging into the My Alza customer account, by e-mail, or by another appropriate method.
Membership is intended for our customers. In practice, this means that your registered account must include at least one completed purchase that has not been withdrawn within 14 days of purchase.
You can obtain Alza Premium by ordering the service directly on our website and entering the details of a supported payment card. These details will be stored for potential renewal of the membership, although we do not have access to them.
Alza Premium membership is available in three variants:
Alza Premium membership can be obtained on the Alza website by paying the membership fee. Membership is available to any registered Alza customer who has concluded at least one purchase contract via the Alza e-shop and has not terminated it prematurely.
When obtaining Alza Premium membership, the Member is required to update their personal details in their customer account in the My Alza section and keep them accurate, up to date and complete.
A condition for obtaining Alza Premium membership is payment using a supported payment card and storing the card number for future purchases and potential renewal of the membership.
Alza emphasises that it does not have access to payment card details; these are managed solely by the relevant financial institution processing the payment or by the service provider facilitating these transactions.
Alza notes that the payment card holder and the person registered on the given customer account should be the same individual.
Membership is concluded for a period of 12 months and is automatically renewed for the same period unless you cancel automatic renewal.
You can cancel directly in your account by turning off automatic renewal. Whether you pay annually or monthly, your membership will remain active until the end of the current annual period.
The membership period is 1 month. In that case, membership will be automatically renewed for another 1‑month period unless the Member cancels it or notifies Alza that they no longer wish the membership to be automatically renewed.
If the Member chooses annual membership at a discounted price (see below), the membership will be automatically renewed for a further 12‑month period unless the Member cancels it or notifies Alza that they no longer wish the membership to be automatically renewed.
Information about the status of membership is always available in the Member’s customer account in the My Alza section, under Alza Premium.
Alza Premium membership can be cancelled at any time via the Alza website using the contact form. Cancellation takes effect on the last day of the fixed term for which the membership was agreed. The Member is not entitled to a refund of the membership fee, or any part of it, and retains access to all membership benefits until the membership ends.
If the Member wishes to use Alza Premium benefits again, they must obtain a new membership by purchasing it at the current prices.
In the event of a breach or circumvention of the above condition, Alza reserves the right to identify such a customer in its systems (e.g. by e-mail, phone number or billing/delivery address) and cancel their Alza Premium membership, or block them from obtaining the service in the future.
By ordering the Alza Premium service, the Member agrees to the provision of the service before the expiry of the statutory 14-day withdrawal period.
The membership fee will be charged automatically depending on whether you have chosen annual or monthly payments. The annual fee of CZK 2,490 is more cost-effective, while the monthly fee of CZK 249 spreads the cost into smaller regular payments. The choice is yours.
The membership fee is charged automatically from the stored payment card, so there is nothing you need to do.
The duration of membership is 1 month, with the monthly fee of CZK 249 incl. VAT charged on the first day of membership. This monthly fee is then charged regularly on the same day of each calendar month for the following month.
With monthly payments, the total amount paid for Alza Premium over 12 months is CZK 2,988 incl. VAT.
The Member may request a change in the payment method, from monthly to annual billing or vice versa. This can be requested when ordering Alza Premium.
If the Member requests a change during an ongoing monthly membership, the change takes effect from the first day after the current monthly period ends. It is not possible to change payment terms during an ongoing annual membership.
If the Member chooses to pay annually in a single payment, the fee is CZK 2,490 incl. VAT. This fee is charged each calendar year on the anniversary of the initial payment.
The Alza Premium membership fee is charged automatically from the stored payment card. If the card is invalid or the payment fails, the Member will be asked to enter a new card or retry the payment. If the payment is not completed within one week of the first attempt, the membership will be blocked with immediate effect. If the Member has used Alza Premium free of charge, they acknowledge that Alza is entitled to payment of a proportional fee for that period.
The current membership fee is listed on the Alza website. Alza reserves the right to change the fee in the following cases:
Alza will inform all customers of any change in fees via its website, and existing Members by e-mail. Any increase for existing Members takes effect upon renewal of membership.
Alza notes that data transfer costs are borne individually by each Member according to their internet provider’s tariff.
The Alza Premium programme is intended exclusively for the private use of the individual Member. In practice, this means that purchased goods must not be resold or rented out.
Due to licencing conditions, some services may only be available within the Czech Republic and Slovakia, in some cases only in one of these countries, or may require a paid or annual membership.
1. Possible restrictions
Alza Premium is intended exclusively for private use. It is prohibited to purchase products or services for the purpose of resale, rental, for customers and/or members, potential customers and/or potential members, or for any other commercial purpose./p>
The Member acknowledges that certain devices may not be fully compatible with the alza.cz/alza.sk website or the Alza mobile app, particularly when using outdated operating systems (e.g. Windows 98 or Android 2.X) or devices not configured in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. Functionality of Alza Premium benefits may be limited on incompatible devices.
Alza Premium membership cannot be combined with AlzaPlus+ membership. Details can be found in the AlzaPlus+ Terms and Conditions.
As with the programme as a whole, access to electronic content is for private use only. As part of the membership, you are granted access to works protected by copyright, and it is not permitted to record, store or distribute them.
2. Copyright in electronic content and private use
Use of electronic content is strictly limited to private use. Any commercial use or public performance is prohibited.
Within Alza Premium, Alza provides Members with access to copyright-protected works. Any use other than private viewing is strictly prohibited, including permanent or temporary downloading or attempts to download, any transfer or attempt to transfer to storage devices (e.g. a computer hard drive) or any other device, or any copying or attempt to copy to CD/DVD or other media. Any sale, rental or exchange of such files (even free of charge) is also prohibited.
When using Alza Premium, the Member must not conceal or mask their geographical location (e.g. by masking their IP address or using foreign proxy servers). This is necessary because the works made available under Alza Premium are licensed only for access within the Czech Republic and Slovakia, or in some cases only within one of these countries.
Alza Premium membership is personal and cannot be transferred or shared with anyone else.
3. Non-transferability of membership
The Member may not assign or transfer their membership, or any rights or obligations arising from it, to a third party, even free of charge.
The Alza Premium programme may only be used in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws. In the event of a breach, membership will be terminated immediately without compensation. This may occur, for example, if there is a reasonable suspicion that the membership is being used in violation of applicable laws or good morals; misuse of a payment card or use of the programme by someone other than the registered Member; use of benefits for purposes other than private use; or attempts to misuse, block or disrupt the stability of Alza’s websites or applications, or breach of obligations under these Terms.

Alza is entitled to terminate a Member’s membership immediately and without compensation if:
5. Responsibility for access credentials
The Member is solely responsible for protecting and keeping confidential their login details for the My Alza account (especially the password) and agrees never to disclose their password to anyone or use another Member’s account, username or password. Alza bears no responsibility for any use of login details by third parties. The Member is liable to Alza for any actions carried out using their login details, even if performed by a third party.
As part of its security measures, Alza strongly recommends that Members follow general internet security practices.
These Terms and any relationships arising from them are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, ineffective or unenforceable, such invalidity, ineffectiveness or unenforceability shall not affect the validity, effectiveness or enforceability of the remaining provisions, unless otherwise required by law.
Alza reserves the right to amend these Terms, with such amendments becoming effective upon publication on the Alza website, unless stated otherwise.
The Member acknowledges that minor changes to these Terms may not be notified by e-mail and that publication on the Alza website is sufficient.
Alza will notify Members of material changes to the Terms that are to the Member’s detriment (e.g. an increase in fees for the next period) at least 30 days in advance. If the Member does not object within 15 days of such notice, they are deemed to have accepted the amended Terms. If the Member does object, the membership will be terminated at the end of the current term and will not be automatically renewed; the existing Terms will apply until then.
If Alza discontinues Alza Premium entirely, a Member who pays annually is entitled to a proportional refund of the membership fee based on the number of months the service was not provided.
If Alza discontinues Alza Premium entirely, a Member who pays monthly is entitled to a proportional refund of the monthly fee for the month in which the service is discontinued, based on the number of days the service was not provided. No further monthly payments will be required.
These Terms are valid and effective from 2 July 2025.
