Circling is an automatic flight mode in which the drone autonomously moves along a circular path around a designated point of interest. The user first selects a target, which can be an object, a person, or a specific location in the landscape. Subsequently, they set parameters such as the circle radius, flight altitude, and the speed at which the drone should move along the circle. Once the function is activated, the drone maintains a constant distance and height from the target and smoothly circles it. This function allows the pilot to fully concentrate on camera control and shot composition, while the drone automatically performs the flight maneuver. In the offerings of various manufacturers, this mode may also be referred to as “Point of Interest” or “Orbit”.
