LEP source

An LEP source is a type of light source, with LEP standing for "Laser Excited Phosphor". Its operating principle involves a blue laser diode illuminating a small element coated with phosphor. Phosphor is a substance that emits light itself after being illuminated. In this case, it absorbs the blue laser light and subsequently emits white light with a wide color spectrum. The resulting light beam is very narrow, intense, and has an extremely long throw, similar to light from a searchlight. Unlike LED diodes, which produce a wide light cone, LEP technology creates a focused beam. The light emitted from the flashlight is no longer a dangerous laser, but standard white light. This technology is primarily used in high-power flashlights and searchlights, where it is necessary to illuminate objects at great distances.
