It operates on the principle of steam sterilization, a process that uses hot steam to destroy bacteria and other microorganisms. A small amount of water is poured into the sterilizer, the items are placed inside, and the container is closed. It is then placed in a microwave oven for several minutes, where the water begins to boil, and the resulting steam reliably sterilizes the entire content. After the cycle is complete, the items remain sterile in the closed container for several hours.
