Soft Start of the Saw

The soft start of a saw is a function that does not run the motor at full speed immediately after the trigger is pressed, but increases the speed or stroke rate gradually. The electronics control the ramp-up so that the saw blade moves more slowly in the first moments. As a result, the blade slips less when it is placed against the material, and the cut can be guided more accurately. The saw jerks less at startup, which improves both comfort and safety during work. Soft start also protects the gearbox, motor and saw blade, as it limits shock loads during start-up. After a short time, the tool reaches the set working speed and operates normally.
