Some laptops may cause an error to automatically allocate more tape width (higher transfer speeds) for transferring USB control data on the USB-C port. The consequence is a lower allowable bit rate on the USB-C video channel and thus a half (30Hz instead of 60Hz) monitor frame rate at 4K (3840x2160) resolution. This problem has occurred with some notebook manufacturers before and e.g. EIZO has responded by enabling 4K monitors to allow the user in the so called. In the "Admin menu" of the monitors, choose whether the monitor on the USB-C port should transfer USB-data at a lower speed according to the USB2.0 specification, with the monitor operating at a higher repetition rate of 60Hz at 4K resolution, or whether the monitor on the USB-C port should transfer USB-data at a higher speed according to the USB3.0 specification, with the monitor operating at only half the repetition rate of 30Hz at 4K resolution. The problem is that some laptop manufacturers have gone "even further" and programmed their computers' BIOS so that even though they receive information from the monitor that the connected monitor on the USB-C port is set to prefer a higher frame rate at the expense of USB-data transfer rate, it still disregards this and behaves as if the monitor is set to prefer a higher USB-data bit rate at the expense of a lower video-data bit rate, so the laptop's BIOS then sets its graphics card resolution to a lower 30Hz frame rate. And in this case, the only thing that helps is the "finesse" of the monitor manufacturer, that the monitor simply does not communicate with the laptop on the topic of selecting the bit rate, and the laptop's graphics card then leaves the default setting of the maximum frame rate - that is, for 4K resolution, 60Hz. To do this, however, you need to modify the monitor firmware. SOLUTION (until firmware update is released) = in the Admin menu of the monitor set the "Signal Format USB-C" option to "HBR2/USB2.0" instead of "HBR3/USB3.2 gen1 - see p. 32 of the Czech manual.

Manufacturer Technical Support
Warranty
You need to set 4k@60 Hz support in the admin menu - see my description. However, this is not a manufacturer's fault.
