At full system load(CPU+iGPU+RAM) battery life 90 minutes. That's kind of mediocre. The processor was NOT running at full speed. Instead of 4.1GHz@40W, which it achieved only when powered from the mains, it was limited to 3GHz@22W when running on battery power. CPU temperatures max 81C, perfectly fine. The fan has an unpleasant tone(! ) and a bad ramp-up curve. At full load, which it achieved only when the power cord was plugged in, the already sufficiently annoying fan performed royally. You can't hear it through headphones(high frequencies are easily dampened) but having a colleague next to me won't make me happy. The power cord is probably the cheapest Acer has dug up. I'm guessing a coaxial 3.5 connection. Laptop's charging so I guess it's ok. The brick is fast, it has a 65W output. The trackpad is plastic but nice and more accurate than my old ThinkPad. The keyboard is also pleasant. The keys provide a nice "click" when depressed. The numberpad is incredibly ill-conceived. Zero is not double, NumLock has no HW indicator(casp lock does - they know how to do it, but have done away with it) and is easy to press and the on button is between the other keys. Key labels are not visible. White lettering on silver background. The backlight has two intensities(unnecessary complication) and turns off after 10 seconds of not using the keyboard(can be turned off in BIOS). ISO layout. ANSI Gold. The up arrow and especially the down arrow are very very hard to press and find. The keyboard's in the hole. Zero is not double but tiny. (? ) Instead of a big zero, there's a second enter. The display is awesome. More than bright enough to work in a room with indirect sunlight. The superior resolution is noticeable. You can see the letters beautifully. I didn't detect PWM with peripheral vision (the center of the eye is more sensitive to colors, the edge to light). Viewing angles super! However, it is tinted red (caused by blue light reduction). Great for working with documents and CADs, not suitable for photo editing. ThinkPad-level display design. Bottom construction sufficient. It doesn't bend when writing but you can tell it's plastic. The speakers are pretty good. Better than on my older ThinkPad. But at 30% volume they vibrate the whole bottom part. The camera may be 1080p but I don't see the difference between 480p. grainy, and when I dimmed the lights, I started blinking. Disaster. The lens is hidden in the hole, but it is exposed and without cover glass. You won't get it wet, but you'll damage the lens. It also looks unsightly. R5 7530u does not have HW AV1 decode(despite the 7000 designation it is zen 3 with Vega iGPU, not zen 4(e.g. r5 7540u) with Radeon iGPU) but when playing 1080p it was used to about 10%. It can probably handle 4k. The SSD is more than fast enough. It boots up in 5 seconds, the finger reader is SUPER fast but right after that it greets you by spinning those famous fans. It came pre-installed with McAfee. Oh, my. It would be advisable to reinstall it with a clean Win. The fan and the unintuitive NumberPad, which was one of the primary criteria for my selection, completely drowned out the above-average processing power and the awesome display.

The high resolution display is fine, too bad there isn't a bigger selection of laptops with that 2560×1440 resolution.
power
a suitable monitor can be connected via usb-c and the laptop charges straight away (although windows reported that the charging was weak after connecting my DELL U2720Q monitor, yet it charged just fine)
the pictures don't match reality, even directly on the Acer website they don't have the right pictures. I received a model with grey keys of the same color as the body and yet it is indeed the A515-48M-R5JK model as they state. This (and the backlight function) makes the characters on the keys harder to read
the usb-c port did not work, nor could I charge, nor connect a monitor, nor connect a flash drive. I already wanted to return the laptop, but after updating windows and drivers, everything works - you can connect a suitable monitor only via usb-c and the laptop charges straight away.
On Alza, the word "metal" is mentioned in the title, but this is quite misleading, because only the back cover of the display is metal, the body of the laptop is normal plastic. I think it's worth a few thousand. pay extra, for another all-metal, eg Lenovo.
The fan is audible during more demanding operations.
