The only positive is the really nice design
Setting the exact time is incredibly difficult

Nice, but a complete waste in functionality and should not be imported from China and offered by Alza. It's also under 3 USD and the rating is the same, unusable in the kitchen. Unfortunately, I looked late, I wanted it as a gift right away. For training patience probably good, to set 3 minutes and 30 seconds is really a challenge. The whole family tried it at the party.

If you happen to hit the time you want to measure, it will measure it; -)
Unfortunately, hitting the desired time setting is really a lottery. and you don't win very often.
Completely random time setting - when you spin fast, the minutes jump, but inconsistently
When you turn slowly, in increments, it jumps 5 seconds for a while, only to jump randomly 15 minutes and 30 seconds later. Turning breaks don't always help either.
