The slide of the whole PC with the slide is from side to side. somehow it doesn't make sense to me, why would it. I had planned to slide the PC deeper under the desk when it is not needed. The lateral stability is very good, but I can't push the slide all the way to the top. and thus the top mounting is loose, which causes the whole pc to wobble. The PC case has top ventilation and not just a metal plate (with a metal plate it would not be a problem). On top I have a dust filter and anti-vibration "screws". So I can't press the case "all the way down" to keep it firmly in the holder. If you have a case with top ventilation, you need to think about it! The trapdoor is really very close to the table top. A case (like mine) that has an upper USB is very difficult to use (but it can be done). The main problem is that the motors on the alzaergo ET1 newgen table will not fit (and I assume it will be the same for other alzaergo models). If you plan to place the PC holder on the inside of the table right next to the table leg, it won't work. it's about 1.5 cm off and it's hitting the engine. The latch will be good, but only if I can figure out the top grip, rotate it 90 degrees, and then how to narrow the table legs to place the latch on the outer edge.
