It is possible to connect not only the camera but also e.g. USB flash with higher power consumption (Lightning on the case can be used for simultaneous power supply) and finally! to easily connect the Windows world and the iOS world (of course, this only applies to data).

It works, I haven't tried the HDD, but the transport back and forth from the flash drive works fine.
Ridiculously high price, but what bothers me more is that I had to buy it.
The need for power, so portability is there.
