I wanted to switch from the Razer Pro Click, but I didn't like the workmanship, size, and light weight at all. The sensor itself is great, everything is precise, every movement. Pairs well (I already have an asus keyboard, so one dongle was enough).
Good sensor, accuracy
lightweight (a plus if it suits)
Application
If you also have an asus keyboard, you only need 1 dongle for both devices
USBC
It looks cheap, practically just plastic, plastic wheel, plastic side buttons.
light (negative if not suitable)
relatively small, the way of holding is more on fingers than on palm
the sign on the back looks like it's backlit, but it's not.

Connection variability
For a mouse around 4k I would expect processing somewhere else and not squeaky plastic compared to the razer viper 3 pro where the plastic seems about 75% better quality
For some, maybe the size

I don't know if it's maybe a "defective" piece, but this mouse had very stiff left and right click for me - when double tapping for example on the icon, I got stuck several times that I actually pressed left click only once instead of twice because of the stiffness of the button. It might be something to get used to, but I found it very uncomfortable compared to my previous mouse (Gladius III or G305). Overall the mouse looks nice, but for the price I was expecting premium feel and premium quality, but somehow it's not there for me.
new generation of technology
includes a polling rate booster in the package
omni receiver = can connect keyboard and mouse to one dongle
lightweight
clean design
ergonomics for some
rigid clicks
very expensive
for the price, I would have expected more
I don't know the difference between 1000 hz polling rate and 4k or 8k
ergonomics for some (i.e. not symmetrical)

In normal work, the potential cannot be used. Too sensitive for me. ASUS should work on the look like Razer has.
Accurate and fast
accessories
looks like a regular mouse for a few pennies

For a long time I have been looking for a mouse that will be good for gaming on Windows PC and at the same time I can take it with me to Macbook without needing an annoying USB reciever. This mouse is absolutely ideal for Mac, because it has a very low Bluetooth response time - 8.4ms, so it is absolutely ideal for regular work. It also has USB-C, so I charge everything through one cable. The only disadvantage is that if you have only a Mac, there is no compatible software. You need to set everything on the Windows app and then the mouse remembers all the settings.
great mouse for Mac and PC
has very low Bluetooth response
USB-C
very light
battery life
I think it's a Mac app
the click is not very quiet

It's not a flashlight like the Razer chroma, maybe a disadvantage for some, but the design is simple/simple and not as aggressive as the Razer chroma - the sparing RGB design is an advantage in my opinion
Because the backlighting isn't aggressive like Razer chroma, it also lasts longer on wireless mode without a cable recharge
RGB backlight turns off when idle and thus also saves power
Smart compartment on the bottom of the mouse for the ROG omni receiver (Bluetooth adapter), when you unplug the receiver and plug the cable (li ion charging) into the mouse, you have somewhere to put the adapter without losing it or putting it in the "chamber of ultimate need" forever. The smart compartment helps you to put the adapter directly into the body of the mouse.
li-ion batteries. - you don't need AA batteries. (but I don't know how long it will last)
ROG omni receiver (Bluetooth adapter) is compatible with Armoury Crate
It's not a colored flashlight like the Razer chroma, if you want the ultimate theatrical backlight, buy another mouse. For the modest design of the backlight (only the roll wheel is lit), I give it both thumbs up.
surprisingly very light weight (54g), I didn't weigh the mouse but it is really light as a feather and a great choice for kids. When you pick up the mouse for the first time, this is the very first impression (and I must write that it is very good and surprising) of this mouse
The manual DPI switch button and also the bluetooth/cable/wireless mode switch is on the bottom of the mouse. Someone wrote earlier in the review that this is a disadvantage, but I disagree. When you have the DPI switch on the top of the mouse (for example, behind the roll wheel), when you blindly flick the mouse, I used to accidentally squeeze the DPI mode change button and it made me quite annoyed when the game was running. The solution of switches and buttons on the bottom edge seems like a "smart" solution to me. I just don't know if it gets dirty after prolonged use.
The wireless solution is already in this mouse is finished to a very high quality of design and functionality. The cable is in the back of my computer with the booster and the bluetooth adapter is on the other end of the cable in the USBc to USB reduction next to the keyboard. When my battery is dead, I disconnect the adapter and plug the USBc cable into the mouse and I don't have to crawl under the desk and unplug the bluetooth adapter from the back of the PC case. I simply tuck the adapter from the bottom into the body of the mouse and I'm done (only the USB-USBc reducer stays loose). You have to switch the switch on the bottom of the mouse to cable connection mode, and the whole operation conveniently without getting up from the chair. Maybe if the bluetooth adapter was a straight female USBc, there would be no need for a USB to USBc reducer at all (but I guess I'd want miracles from the manufacturer)
ROG omni receiver, should probably not be packed into the smart compartment on the bottom of the mouse already in the package from the factory, it could be loose in the box as a booster and USB - USBc reducer. I didn't sew it and so I unnecessarily and stupidly advertised the mouse, because I first thought that the adapter was missing in the package.
The 42,000 DPI resolution is really cool, but unusable on an HD or even 4k monitor. For the future of +100k monitor resolution, 42,000 DPI will probably be a necessity, but in this day and age, I guess. redundancy
Maybe the ROG STRIX logo on the back of the mouse could have been illuminated, but at least it doesn't drain battery power, so actually a small advantage for me.
I don't know how the separate mouse drivers would work if the ROG KERIS II ACE mouse was the only one in the ROG STRIX set. I have the ARMOURY CRATE DEVICES folder of drivers for the entire assembly (motherboard. from the ROG STRIX 100) 650Mb big. I don't know if you can use a trimmed controller for a mouse without Armoury Crate only. But maybe it's solved without Armoury Crate. I really don't know, but having a mouse and having to install the entire Armoury Crate at will for the drivers. I really wouldn't want that (650Mb)
