5GHz and 2.4GHz are running simultaneously which is a great thing. My LED bulbs are only 2.4GHz. My TV and cell phone are on 5GHz. The magic is that I don't have to log in between networks to control the LED bulbs via my mobile. The router does the communication between the mobile and the LED for me.
I'll probably get another one for the other room. A lot of music for the price.

Awesome mobile app where you can set up almost everything in a few clicks.
The antennas can be rotated in almost all directions.
5GHz logically loses signal more than 2.4GHz, but despite the signal loss the connection is faster.
Settings are updated instantly thanks to solid HW equipment.
I had to tape over the blue LED status icons with black tape because it makes the room look like a disco at night.

Very good router. If someone is thinking about WiFi6, this router is the right upgrade. AsusWRT OEM Firmware is enough for basic needs of casual user. For more demanding users or those who want to get more out of the router, it is possible to install OpenWRT which is fully supported and the router has very good support. Thanks to the CPU, RAM and Storage which it has, it is a future proof choice. OpenWRT is very easy to install according to the guideline > just enable SSH in AsusWRT and access to the internet, according to the guideline on OpenWRT pages run comandy and you are done in 5 min. Router with OpenWRT is able to tighten 5+ VAPs and Waves

He makes me so self-conscious. I swapped for a previous archer C6 because of wifi6 (new pc with wifi 6 struggled with it), speed fine but range is odd. In the room next door my signal is weak and drops, but through 3 other rooms still 100m from the router I can get a signal at the station.
