I was getting a quick bike for places where I need to use a telescopic seatpost, so I didn't have any bad experiences with the classic saddlebag. After a few rides with this camelbak I am thrilled. It doesn't shift heavier unlike backpacks and it doesn't get stuck and bounce on bumps like an undersaddle, so working with the bike is smoother too. We were worried about too much pressure on the belly, but the belt is easy to loosen and tighten while riding, so it's not a problem and if you're not riding in rough terrain and you feel like the kidney is pulling on you, you loosen it a bit and it doesn't go anywhere. And if you feel that it is looser when you want to go out of the saddle and it should bounce on your back, you can tighten it again with one quick movement. Otherwise, I'll put a lot more in the kidney than I will in the saddlebag. I sometimes use the bottle compartment as a spare tire compartment or I can put a service "bidon" with tools in it. The pouches have plenty of organizers and are really spacious. I had no problem packing for a day trip.
