It is a simple printer and for an ordinary household all-round suitable, I just did not read the printer features properly and it bothers me a little that there is no automatic duplex printing but I have to switch paper. Otherwise, for those 10 -50 pages per month good and scanner is always useful.

Personally, I choose universal inks for Canon printers e.g. from Aliexpress, where you can get a complete set of CMYK dye 100ml bottles of inks from 160 CZK - the quality is indistinguishable from the original Canon inks and the price of photo printing is really minimal.

I bought the printer for super money because I took advantage of the ISIC owner discount and also the Canon cashback promotion. This makes the price/performance ratio for a printer that has a tank system absolutely great. The biggest struggle was setting up the printer, because once it shut down, it was impossible to connect to it and I had to restart the whole network to get it back up. When I set up the printer via PC (the manual is also terribly complicated) to be functional (i.e. turns off, but when you send a page from your computer to print, it automatically turns on, which is not the default setting), so everything works perfectly.
