The car builds like a lego, it's rounded everywhere when assembled and you can't see so much that it's built from blocks, but it looks more like a toy to play with.
The assembly instructions are clear, everything looks quality and well thought out in detail.
It's definitely a good alternative to lego. But only time will tell the quality - the degradation of the material and whether the cubes will hold up as well as new ones. (Megablocks cubes cured me of that. After a few years they do not hold on at all, the degradation of the material is noticeable. I wouldn't buy Megablocks again)
