This is manifested by the fact that after 10-20 seconds of charging the hub goes out, charging stops and after another 10 seconds it comes back on. This happens over and over again. On a laptop, the cycle is even faster and constantly wakes it from sleep. But there are also devices that charge without problems, it's not the system, it's not the brand, it's not the power consumption (devices from 5W to about 70W), it's not the charging time or the cable.

The adapter is probably suitable for people who just want everything over cable, in which case the adapter is reliable (though it's hard to say if it's worth the price given the options). The problem arises with wireless chargers. The adapter can't communicate with them properly. I needed to plug 2 wireless chargers into the adapter, one for headphones, the other for the watch (where there is no other option, both Samsung). The chargers would alternate between shutting off at times, only unplugging and plugging them in helped until the adapter shut off and the whole problem started again with the next charge. Other than that, the wireless chargers shut off when they're done charging, which is especially a problem with watches (which even have the original charger out of the box), which start to discharge overnight once they're 100% charged and the adapter shuts off. It's a bit of a shame that the adapter doesn't support such basic functionality. Even a 2-year-old brick from Alza can do it for 600, -: ) Since I can only charge 2 of my 4 devices fully and properly as a result, this adapter is useless to me and I will be looking for a replacement from another brand.
