If you' re looking for smart features, avoid the arc. It can' t do anything but turn it on and off. That' s all the smart home integration. And the mobile app isn' t worth anything either. It is better to save a thousand and buy a version without smart functions, where there is still a lot of room for improvement, but basically it does what it is supposed to do. And if you' re not interested in smart features, go straight for the newer version without smart features and save yourself a thousand.

Due to these shortcomings, I returned the fan and bought a newer version without smart functions. I saved 1000 CZK and I don' t bother with non-functioning smart functions.

The remote control could have been via BT instead of IR for that price, but if the fan spins well then it' s not a problem. Pairing with a mobile phone at first glance, control via mobile phone is user-friendly. The great thing is that in order to be able to control the fan with a mobile phone, I don' t have to be connected to the same Wi-Fi as the fan, it also works from the mobile network. So I turn it on/off from anywhere. When not in use for a long time, I definitely recommend disconnecting it from the mains, because it is electronically controlled and cannot be turned off completely. User reviews stated that the fan consumes up to 2.5 W in standby mode. Maybe I' m crazy to pay 4 thousand for a fan. but for the money it' s really no ordinary fan. I considered a fan with a battery, but I couldn' t think of where the apartment could use it. Batteries can sometimes be purchased. If you don' t mind paying 4,000 for a fan, you won' t be disappointed.
