ANC suppresses I would say rather lower frequencies. That's probably the case with all headphones. These are my first headphones with ANC, so I can't rate this. The headphones sound different with ANC off and on. I would say better with ANC on. With ANC on, it makes a little noise. With ANC off, it doesn't fizz at all. If you're looking for well-equipped headphones with quality sound at a reasonable price, you can't go wrong with these headphones. Audiophiles and those looking for uncompromising sound quality will choose much more expensive products.
