It works, you can't expect miracles for the money. The thermocouple is positioned rather awkwardly but I guess it can't be done much better. Programming is hell, but so was the previous thermostat. The buttons are pretty unreliable (my previous thermostat figured that out). The display could show more and could be bigger. The manual is minimalist. It's just a dinosaur, for people who are happy with that. We'll see how long the batteries last. I used a charger in the previous one and it worked, here are the supplied ones.
