The grinder would be fine if it had a better designed container into which the ground coffee falls. But the opening from which the coffee comes out is on the side, not on the top, so the coffee flies all over the container and beyond. That's why you need to look for a grinder that has a longer neck from which the ground coffee comes out, and grind it straight into a cup, French press or some smaller container of its own.
The coffee also flies out of the container where the beans are brewed. So the mess is all around the grinder. Moreover, the ground coffee in the container electrifies, so about one spoonful of coffee remains on the walls and when you try to drop it down with a spoon or by tapping it, it gets caught on the walls again. Furthermore, the coffee is also unsticky around the hole from which the coffee comes out, there is a seal, but it does not help anything. So when you take the container out, the coffee falls out of there too.
Personally, I do not recommend the grinder. If you plan to grind large quantities of coffee, then maybe the downsides are bearable. But for daily grinding of 1-2 portions it is absolutely unsuitable. I eventually returned the grinder and bought a manual one for a similar price.
