I bought mainly because of the price/capacity ratio. And that there is one (and one is enough for me) without the unnecessary docking station. I write the review (and I write it thoroughly) mainly because Alza itself does not provide much (practically no) information about the product.
In the package with the battery is a 3m cable with a braid, which is, unfortunately, only charging. However, the length is just enough not to get in the way when you need to connect charging and playing. The battery itself is practically as heavy compared to the alkaline battery variant (AA+door). However, it sticks out a bit from the bottom (this can be seen in the photos), which may bother you with a certain grip. On the battery there is a UCB-C connector for charging and a charge light (only when charging). It's supposed to have 1200 mAh and to my unpleasant surprise it's Ni-MH (I don't know how the competition is doing), a technology I've considered replacing lithium batteries in similar applications. This entails special treatment to ensure that its good health lasts as long as possible - Ni-MH have a so called. memory effect, so it is desirable to fully discharge them before charging and charge them ideally for 10 hours (the instructions say something about a current of max 500 mA, ten hours would correspond to 120 mA). The instructions are not in Czech by the way, but who would read the instructions for a stupid battery. By the way, I wouldn't have known about Ni-MH if I hadn't written the review that made me flip through it a bit. The consolation is that it can be charged while in use.
I won't rate the capacity or endurance too much yet. I ordered it with the driver and then found out that my computer doesn't communicate with it via BT. If the review can be completed, I will complete it with a new PC.
I'll probably keep the battery, but next time I'll be careful what type I buy (Ni-MH, Li-ion, etc. ). I'll take one star for the shape, another for the technology.
