I returned this USB burner, there are better options on the current market for almost the same price.
plastic is all there can be, including such parts as the drawer slides
the plastics and their finish do not even look very good, for example the inside of the drawer
overall the design looks quite cheap, the slide-out drawer is quite gargling and rattling (without being damaged in any way)
declared USB2 connection only (compatible with USB3, but still only USB2), other drives of comparable price already have USB 3.1 Gen 1 connection
the inserted BD-R Bluray disc took much longer to initialize than in other, higher quality drives (about 24 seconds compared to about 12 seconds)
a lot of clacking during operation - unpleasant sound, probably related to cheap plastics and not very precise workmanship
not very practical cable, from the time when USB2 was the peak (before USB3)
impractical miniature USB2 connector on the drive, a USB-C connector, which is also offered in comparable drives on the market, would be preferable
