I've had the robot for a while and I don't have carpets at home, but I would say it vacuums well: ) The only thing that bothers me a little is that when he hits a wall or some obstacle, he stays with it too long for my taste before he realizes he has to go somewhere else. But otherwise I definitely recommend it, for the price it's a quality product: )
