I bought the keyboard as an external keyboard for my MacBook. I need to write longer texts, so ergonomics is essential. The keyboard has an alternative Mac layout printed on it. Unfortunately, the world is an imperfect place, so although cmd and option are printed, they of course behave the opposite by default (i.e. The window button behaves like cmd). Fortunately, this can be easily solved through the settings - keyboard shortcuts. Well, that's where the problem arises. Everything on the left is completely familiar, cmd behaves like cmd and option behaves like option, so if you need to type a proper hyphen in text (like now -) and not rely on a Word-type text editor, left option + hyphen works as it should, just like option + shift + hyphen works if you need a book-length hyphen (-). Unfortunately, the problem occurs when you are used to using the left option when writing in English, where the hyphen is next to the zero at the top. Because because of the fact that the most useless button in the world Copilot is stuffed in there for Windows (I have a Windows machine and I gutted the useless memory hog Copilot from it), it just doesn't work. Neither as an option nor as a default cmd. So I am limited to one half of the keyboard for full functionality.
It's great to write on
quite compact for its type
where the devil can't, he'll plant a copilot key
