I don' t know how to feel about this review. This is not a classic fryer, but rather I would say that it is a pot of oil in which to make French fries. Handling is very simple, but the on/off button is missing. Pot (? ) of course gets hot and there is a risk of burns when switching it off, as you have to pull the cable out of the socket. I therefore do not recommend having a drawer behind the pot, as you could spill hot oil on yourself. A huge caution, if you have children, I definitely do not recommend a pot for such a household! The pot is small, you can make a maximum of two portions of fries in it, with the ears scraped off. A maximum of 1.2 liters of oil can fit, and that' s already beyond the mark of the pot for maximum filling. Shaking the pot is absolutely useless. It does not leak, it is more for decoration. If you have it on a pot, the steam condenses on it, drips into the oil, and then it splatters. Therefore, I recommend heating and then frying without a lid. The handle is not firmly attached to the basket, it is only put on and then it is not secured in any way, so emptying the contents of the basket is very difficult and you have to use a fork, for example, to prevent the basket from tipping over. Practically nothing else can be made in the pot, except fries. It is very small for schnitzels, maybe some nuggets. I would probably recommend the pot for a cottage, for example, but it simply does not fit into a full-fledged household.
