The system has a really good sound considering the size of the boxes and speakers. It also has good music performance and, after the update, smoother volume control and English in the menu. What I miss is a user-editable equalizer. Kenwood can do it in car radios for 2500 crowns and they do it well, so why not put it in a system for almost 8000?
The size of the display is really something to think about. From a distance of more than 3.5 metres, it will be difficult to read the information on it. At the same time, it could be the same length as the CD drawer that is under the display. Thus, the display could provide more comfort and possibilities.
What's really tragic is the energy saving system (in the instructions, point 1.19). If your Bluetooth signal source is not at the appropriate level (in my case, a Sony turntable), you won't listen to a whole side of the record. The system switches to standby mode after 30 minutes of playback. Despite the best efforts of the Kenwood support technician, we have not been able to fix this problem. So I suggested that they remove this feature with updates, or at least give the user the option to set the system to shut itself down after a period of inactivity. I consider this function unnecessary.

Purchased after a previous Philips TAM4505, which I was really happy with, however before the end of the warranty the DAB went out. Unrepairable and refunded. After a lot of searching, reading tests and reviews, the clear choice was this kit. Although the price is 3000 CZK higher, the first impressions confirm the conclusions of all reviews (among others. award as "Stereo of the Year 2022/23) that it was a great choice. Strangely enough, I read on the box for the first time that it is defacto Japanese JVC and I remember with nostalgia my first proper and great JVC radios both "room" and in the car. What I appreciate about this mini tower, besides the perfect design, is the performance and perfect sound. And this for all modes - functions. Absolutely perfect sound and in a 5x5 meter room it has a huge margin. Trying the maximum it could do just isn't an option..: -))) WiFi and SPOTIFY work great and especially the control from mobile via UNDOK apk. This is true for all modes without exception. I dusted off my extensive vinyl LP discography as well and despite the line-in absolutely perfect. If I had one small criticism of this absolutely brilliant system, it would be the volume control. Especially in the lower levels between 5 and 8, the lack of smooth adjustment is felt. The steps are too rough and jumpy. It would need a smooth control, or finer stepping. So let's see if JVC-KENWOOD will do something about it in the next firmware upgrade. And perhaps one more unimportant little thing. The LCD display is perfect, however, there is plenty of room on the front of the mini tower for, say, a 1 Inch larger LCD. Otherwise, praise and praise again.
Absolutely flawless. Great sound, performance. Although it was not a problem, after today's firmware upgrade there is also Czech and adjusted step volume tuning. Also, the design is great. Just perfect.
None, especially after today's (24.5.2023) firmware upgrade there is already Czech language and adjusted step volume tuning.

Sound-wise good
Visually beautiful at first sight
The LCD is shifted so that its left edge is not visible, so you have to look significantly from the side.
Spotify is there, but you have to control it via mobile (you can't log in on the device itself): / High system latency (LCD) per user. For example, the volume control is quite annoying.

It works as it should in terms of DAB reception and CD playback.
The goal was to get a radio for general use. I have no claim to great music.
DAB works even without an external antenna.
WiFi connection is without problems.
