They exactly meet my idea of the first scissors to learn and get acquainted with. All plastic, they are not sharp at all and yet they cut ordinary paper or plasticine.

The baby won't get hurt
It's pretty good for cutting plasticine. I'm afraid that's all it's for.
The baby won't cut anything. And not really an adult.
We tried jute string and the scissors can't handle it (they bend). It's really almost only for paper (and the mentioned plasticine) and even in a specific angle i.e. a child without help doesn't stand a chance.
