Apart from the fact that the camera didn't work at all, resp. power adapter, I can actually see why it's called S8 instead of S10, realistically it's a much worse product than the S9 was, so in that respect it's not so much an upgrade as a downgrade. I don't understand where the engineers at lamax went wrong. Instead of just improving the SD card capacity and image, they threw away all the good stuff and threw this at us. I prefer not to comment on the pseudo Czech, where half of the things are in Czech and half in English.
