As a result, I actually have nothing to complain about, I have a variant with an IPS touchscreen display, which I chose because of a bad previous experience with OLED. The display is beautiful, bright, quite large and, thanks to the high resolution, spacious. The keyboard may surprise some by the absence of a number pad, but if you don't require numbers, it can be considered more of an advantage, because you don't need to wring your hands unnaturally, but let everyone evaluate it according to their preferences. As far as the laptop is concerned, the fans are only switched on at higher loads, and I consider the fact that there are 2 of them to be a huge advantage, in combination with the economical processor they almost never run (temperatures around 30°C) which was a pleasant surprise for me. Now to the disadvantages, the display is heavy, the hinges have to be stiff and so it can't be opened with one hand. It's also glossy, so it simply fogs up, I solved it by sticking a matte film. The second disadvantage is the keyboard backlighting, which is visible from a relatively small angle below the buttons and it is quite dazzling, especially when used on the lap. But the keyboard is nice and quite easy to type on, so probably a quid pro quo. And the battery life? this is a miracle for me, I have no experience with Mac, but it relieved me of the fear of leaving with a laptop without a charger, a day of normal use will probably do, but it is difficult for me to evaluate, I do not use it for work and I can not load it with office work for so long in a row. I have it for "laptop stuff" and it handles everything I want it to do excellently.

I was looking for a reliable yet stylish laptop that could handle both work deployment and occasional gaming or video editing. The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 15ILL9 impressed me not only with its looks, but mainly with what it offers inside. The brushed aluminium body is solid yet elegant - the whole machine weighs just over 1.5 kg, making it ideal for frequent moves. The thickness does not exceed 14 mm, which makes it a very thin machine, but it does not detract from its robustness. The screen is the real draw - it's a 15.3-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2880×1860 pixels, which has a refresh rate of 120Hz and DCI-P3 colour space coverage. The brightness reaches up to 500 nits, so even in daylight it is readable without any problem. Colours are rich and accurate, which anyone working with graphics or video will appreciate. In terms of performance, there's an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V chip ticking away inside, complete with Intel Arc graphics. This combination handles multitasking without hesitation and doesn't shy away from lighter gaming or more demanding work applications. With 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and a fast 1TB SSD, system response is lightning fast and work is smooth. The battery life was a pleasant surprise - for normal use, such as office work, streaming or browsing the internet, it's around 10 to 11 hours. At higher loads, of course, it decreases, but it is still an above-average result. Charging via USB-C is fast - the 65W adapter can replenish most of the capacity in less than an hour. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, has solid stroke and quiet keys, perfect for long work sessions. The touchpad works reliably, although sometimes I would have liked a little better precision in the periphery. The fans spin a little more at higher loads, but during normal operation the cooling is quiet and unobtrusive. A solid port lineup is also worth mentioning - there are two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A, HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5mm jack. This means you don't need a docking station. Summary The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 15ILL9 offers a very good balance between mobility, performance and processing. It's not a gaming cannon, but for more demanding work, multimedia and lighter games it's more than enough machine. And most importantly - it feels really premium.
Excellent display with high brightness and accurate colours.
Powerful processor and RAM for demanding tasks.
Lightweight design suitable for travel.
Long battery life.
Good connectivity including Thunderbolt 4.
The fans are audible under load.
The touchpad could be more sensitive.
Higher price compared to some competitors.

As a programmer, I was worried about whether it would be enough power, but the device is nice and agile even under load and always cool.
Overall size, it's 15" but feels like a 14"
charging port on both left and right side
does not heat up even during hard work
the body has a similar weight to the lid. i.e. not easy to open with one hand
it has a m2 drive format 2242, which is a pity for a 15" laptop, in case you want to replace it
does not support the pen, it's a pity that when the touch layer is there, it does not have pen support

I switched from a 4 year old ASUS Zenbook Flip and performance wise you can tell the difference. Both for normal Windows work and for playing WOT. I was very surprised by the sound, which is completely different from the old Asus. What I still can't get used to is the location of the keyboard. There are speakers next to it and so it's not edge to edge and somehow I can't hit the right letters, but perhaps that's a matter of time. It's too early to judge the battery, but when playing WOT it drops to about 2 hours displayed, when doing office work it writes around 8 hours, but I haven't tested it yet - 99% of the time I've been on cable so far.
