In general, I'm excited about the laptop. I had an old 17" MSI GE70 from 2013 that weighed 3 kg, and then a working 14" Dell Latitude 5400. Compared to both older laptops, this one has a nicer design, is lighter and of course more powerful. Unfortunately, compared to the Dell, it has a really weak battery or it just drinks too much. If you need to be without an outlet for more than 5 hours then I can't recommend it. I've considered returning it because of that, but I'm going to try to accept it somehow. With the brightness on minimum and power saving mode, you might squeeze 6-7 hours out of it. The laptop is beautiful, very pleasant to use. Compared to the 15" non-PRO version that I touched in the store, I find the chassis much better made and it is a pleasure to hold such a laptop in my hand. No plastics, no flexing, no overheating or creaking. I'm a little dubious about the quality of the 120 Hz display, but since I have my laptop connected to a monitor most of the time, I'm not too worried about it. Important for me are the guts of the notebook, but those other than "decent performance" so far I can not evaluate. We'll see in time if other bugs I haven't discovered yet will force me to replace the laptop with another one. Primarily chosen for programming and web browsing, not gaming.
Really good quality chassis and keyboard. It doesn't crease anywhere, the material is pleasant.
Decent 14 core i7 performance and (we'll see how much I use it) RTX 3050
Despite the glossy display, the laptop can be worked on in normal lighting conditions
Light, strong, attractive
1 TB SSD and 32 GB RAM in the base without the need to buy more
Fast charging - tested to recharge 30% in 15 minutes
2x Thunderbolt supports more devices simultaneously than x USB 2.0 and 3.0+ ports on other laptops
The endlessly occupied memory card reader is missing
Reasonably decent cooling during normal lap work, hasn't baked me yet
Terrible battery life on one full charge (about 3-5 hours of normal use off load). Tested and reviewed a few days after purchase. It is not Intel EVO certified.
Integrated, board-powered RAM - cannot be replaced or expanded. If the RAM goes away, the laptop will be amen. Unfortunately, more manufacturers are doing this now with 14" laptops in this price range. It is necessary to buy in the base with such RAM with which you will be satisfied for its entire lifetime.
The oddly jerky cursor on the screen tells me that the 120 Hz display won't be quite right in this case. For work and occasional play, though, nothing matters.
A little noisier fan in normal use than I would expect. But it shuts off continuously, and unless you have complete silence in the room, you won't even notice.
The display is fogging up. When you open the lid, there is no place on the display to hold the lid well, so you accidentally get it clogged.
