I have mixed feelings about this device. Either we have such clean air, or the pollution sensor really (as written in some reviews) cannot detect dust. Thanks to this, the application constantly shows PM 2.5 Very Good, and in Auto mode it has never boosted our performance. Perhaps only once, when the whole apartment smelled of baking cakes. I tried dusting the sensor and nothing. I don' t really understand why such a sensitive sensor would fail to detect such a basic thing. In that case, I can' t imagine how it could detect pollen particles or even viruses. Product and sensor description: The Levoit Core300S SMART purifier is equipped with AirSightTM PLUS technology. It is a technology that scans the air quality using a special laser sensor. This sensor is able to detect pollution with particles up to 3x smaller than commonly used infrared sensors.

It produces a relatively quiet but high frequency sound, or it SHOUTS at the lowest setting (yes even on sleep mode). I.e. it absolutely cannot be in the bedroom. The S400 too, although less so. According to internet discussions, I am not the only one who is bothered by this.
I returned them both.

This purifier seems to be more for effect and smart features than actual air purification. I hope I'm wrong and it actually does something, but when I compare it to the previous Philips 3000, which reacted to the slightest whiff of dust, smell, fumes. this one doesn't react to anything and still pretends the air quality is good.
