I didn't believe the reviews that it could be that bad. But it's really in a different league to the T300. G29 is like a sugar cube and T300 is like a chocolate cake: )
I really like the overall design, design, leather, metal, button layout is super mega. great adhesion - much better than T300 which sticks like snot.
G29 has a lot more buttons than the xbox alternative, which I used in Euro Truck Simulator. I really don't understand the competition, why not push more buttons, pacok. Wheelbarrow. does everybody only play racing games?
The pedals are good, the brake is stiff, but again it doesn't need to be fully applied - it depends on the game and the way of riding. It'll probably be worse for race, but fine for sim. I probably wouldn't take it away from the kids, they won't catch it.

A brilliant first steering wheel. If you fancy trying something new or just want to have a go at Euro Truck Simulator every now and then, this is perfect for that.
For the price, it’s a very good start. If you just want to give sim racing a go and don’t want to spend a fortune straight away, it makes perfect sense.
Even with this steering wheel, you can still drive and handle the car quite well. It more than makes up for all its drawbacks by being really affordable.
You can easily buy one second-hand as well. It’s fairly reliable and there are plenty of them at car boot sales.
However, if you’re more serious about racing and plan to play iRacing, Forza or other racing or rally simulators, I’d personally prefer to save up a bit at this stage and go for the Moza, for example. Believe me, in six months’ time you’ll probably realise you want something better. I can’t wait to save up for a better steering wheel.
