5/9/2022, a few months of use and additions to my original review. I fell in love with this phone and ended up using it as my primary phone. I sold Pixel .: D Currently on Android 12, the video is already pretty stable (maybe the update fixed it, nvm. ) The display is still great and the system is brisk. As for cameras, I also see progress there, it needs practice. Great for static landscapes, I managed a few great photos.108MPx is known mainly in details. Battery life and fast charging is also great. I think this phone for this money is just a must have: )
Very nice design. Thin symmetrical frames around the display. I like a matte, gray frame that doesn' t cut into my hand. The phone looks a bit like Razr' s, it' s a nice, thin style: ) Frosted gray is a very nice color.
Display, display, display. This is the flag panel of the phone for about 20-30 thousand. 144hz, vivid colors, softness. Just pimp the display!
System speed. Great optimization along with a fast display means that everything is completely poured on this phone. Opening applications is completely instant. When I return to Pixel 4a 5G, which I also use, I feel like it' s covered. 😄 That fluency is addictive.
SDRGN 778G and 8GB RAM (If necessary, it is possible to add 2GB of storage and increase the memory capacity to 10GB. )
Construction. The thinness of the phone is very strong and well made. Simply Motorola .; )
Matte back adjustment and reader in the frame on the side .; )

Dual SIM. (The slot is not hybrid so you cannot use a microSD instead of a single SIM. )

Photo equipment.3 lenses. Classic 108MPx, wide and zoom. Lots of settings, you can take pictures in full 108MPx resolution when the photos have enough details. A strong 2LED diode can be useful in the dark: )
Android 11. (For me better than 12 with the shaded gray in the system and other system. “tweaks“)
For 8000, - the phone is excellent. I bought it for a test and eventually kept it .; ) I usually use this phablet to watch websites, movies and videos (which is absolutely great) in bed and I have Pixel when I go out.
6.7 “is enough. The phone against the Pixel 4a 5G is only about an inch bigger, but in the hand it is quite familiar.
The speaker is really pretty average. Pixel stereo speakers are far from.
A smaller diagonal and more weight + thickness would be suitable so that the phone holds better in the hand and one does not feel that it will fall out. Sometimes it slips a lot. (Silicone case included)
Weaker cameras. They are not as reliable as Pixel, where almost every photo is just good. The video is also quite miserable. Only 4K 30 and still it is torn. But there are more photo options and you can take a great photo, so as an additional photo car ok, as a primary probably not.

After a long time with the top models, I went for the lower classes because I just liked the phone. Diplay is great, better than 2x more expensive devices. The user-friendly phone is just great. Not a single jam in a few months. I was a little afraid of less storage (128GB), but in the age of cloud services it' s probably more than enough. The fingerprint reader on the page is still the best solution for me and works 100%. I would recommend the phone to anyone, it' s just a pleasure to use.

The camera is really weaker, without OIS there is quite a bit of capturing moving objects sharp). But still images are great, the level of detail is great and the colors are more accurate, not coloring books like most Chinese productions. In poor lighting conditions, however, it extremely loses quality, rather unusable. However, I solved it by buying a mirrorless 😁

Since I didn't like the 21:9 aspect ratio on Sony phones for the last few years, I was looking for a different manufacturer. Motorola appealed to me with pure android, moto gestures. Speed and reliability. The battery 4000 is not the biggest, but still the phone lasts about 1.5 days of use. In addition, the processor used is snappy compared to the current best Snapdragon 888 and the phone does not heat up. When I compare the Motorola Edge 20 to the Sony 1 Mark III, the Motorola is comparable. At least as far as normal use is concerned. It's light, fast and has beautiful realistic (no coloring book) photos. I got the phone from pre-order and for me absolute satisfaction. I recommend it to all those who do not want to just compare parameters, but want to use the phone mainly.
